Javier de Cambra was my friend and my musical brother.

He loved our music with strong passion and one of the best journalist in jazz.
He was always very kind to me and the musicians in the band during our many times in Spain.
We were together in Madrid, San Sebastian, Zaragoza, Pyrenees, Barcelona and other cities in Spain.
We also spent time together in New York and Tangier.
Many nights listening to the beautiful flamenco and the Gnawa music of Morocco.

He will be missed.
